The Revvo Caster Company, Inc. announces the introduction of its new SingleTech Solus casters. Available in four swivel and four total-lock swivel models, the new SingleTech Solus caster range is designed for high-technology medical equipment, appliances, furniture, retail displays, and for other applications requiring dependable performance combined with design style.

SingleTech Solus casters are constructed of two lightweight, pressure-diecast aluminum shells and feature soft, streamlined contours to combine quality and comfort into an economical range of durable and attractive casters. They are engineered to swivel freely in all directions while reducing pushing effort necessary in demanding applications. Total lock models feature a brake mechanism activated by light pressure on a smooth-contoured pedal, manufactured from tough, reinforced thermoplastic for a low operating load and long service life. Both the wheel and swivel are locked simultaneously.

The new SingleTech Solus swivel casters have load capacities ranging from 198 to 297 lbs. Models with 4" and 5" wheel diameters are offered with overall heights of 142mm and 178mm respectively. Swivel radii for the 4" casters are 80mm (swivel) and 100mm (total lock) models; and for the 5" casters, 104mm (swivel) and 123mm (total lock). The SingleTech Solus features a precision ball bearing for low rolling resistance and caster durability. Standard wheel materials include gray polyurethane and gray rubber. A variety of options are available including: “gold seal” washable casters, color finishes (White RAL 9000 is standard); electrically conductive tires, alternative mounting stem and fixing thread sizes, and a directional lock for the total lock models.

Both the wheel and swivel are locked simultaneously by positive engagement of two sets of teeth.

The new TwinTech Solus swivel casters offer load capacities ranging from 198 to 297 lbs. Wheel diameters include 3”, 4” and 5” models with overall heights of 90mm, 120mm and 148mm respectively. Swivel radius for the swivel models are 63mm, 83mm and 105mm, depending on wheel diameter, and 67mm, 90mm, and 105mm for the total lock models. The TwinTech Solus features a precision needle roller bearing for low rolling resistance. Standard wheel materials include gray polyurethane and gray rubber. A variety of options are available including: “gold seal” washable casters, color finishes (White RAL 9000 is standard); electrically conductive tires, alternative fixing thread sizes, top plate fixing, black nylon tires, and a directional lock for the total lock models.
